"The Law of Unintended Consequences" means things or actions bring unexpected consequences wich seems to be good or bad or both. We can not prevent this because it is usually unpredictable. For example, I wanted to study abroad when I was in high school, but I failed in the interview and couldn't go. I was so depressed at that time, but if I didn't fail that interview, I was not here in ICU. So, the world is complex and everything we do always leads us to unintended consequences.
This example is very relevant, and I believe I can speak for all of the CA class when I say we're glad you ended up studying with us here at ICU. We're happy to have you as a friend and member of our class.

返信削除Like to Mihiro's comment. He's so random. Anyways, I'm happy to hear about this unintended consequences! Everything happens for a reason, I believe. Life is full of unintended consequences!
返信削除Which university did you want to study at? You were lucky having failed in the interview because you are ICU students now.
返信削除It's more like a poem than homework!
返信削除But I like the way you think like that ;]
Yes, as other people have commented, I am very happy that you chose ICU first ;) However, you can still study abroad through the exchange program or by yourself. I am sure that will bring you other unintended consequences..(e.g. end up living in the country)
